• Be available to reliably work evenings from 11pm - 7am
• Welcome and provide superior and conscientious service to guests from arrival to check-out
• Must be flexible and a team player
• Operate the front desk according to standard operating procedures and with superior guest service.
• Complete IHG Brand Training to learn about program and membership
• Audit, balance, and report on the various areas of the hotel
• Provide accurate, timely information and ensure company and hotel policies and procedures are followed
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to standard operating procedures
• Process guest payments, carefully resolve issues, ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner
• Respond promptly and positively to requests from guests, management & team
• Start breakfast set up AM breakfast attendant
• Achieve exceptional ratings on guest service scores
• Complete daily tasks to ensure standards of cleanliness
• Ensure areas are maintained in an attractive and orderly manner
• IHG and Opera experience is a plus
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) year hospitality experience preferred
• One (1) year hotel front desk experience preferred
• Experience in auditing, especially in the hospitality industry, is preferred

• Experience with computer systems and office equipment required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to endure long periods of standing and walking throughout an 8-hour shift
• Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
• Must be able to repeatedly bend and kneel while reaching below waist height at the front desk
• Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Must possess good dexterity of hands/fingers, such as for gripping, pinching, writing, and typing
• Must be able to endure constant repetitive movement (typing, writing, etc.) for long periods of time
• Must be able to communicate verbally to guests and comfortably use a phone system. Must be able to adequately move about the hotel area to complete tasks
